Topsy Turvey.....Black and White

My girlfriend always gets a cake from me every year for her birthday. This year, she found a cake that was outrageously priced and asked if I could do it for half. I figured out why it was so outrageous....but still extremely overpriced. It was a fun challenge...and if you saw the original, its a pretty close replica.

Bridal Shower

This cake was made for a bridal shower. (I also did the wedding cake, but forgot my camera so I'm waiting for the photographers pictures so I can post them) This was a white cake with fresh strawberry filling.

I wanted to try something new for my sister's birthday. My sister loved the butterflies. Made out of chocolate, yummy and cute.

An "Under the Sea" themed birthday party called for an underwater themed cake.

I was asked to match the dress of the birthday girl. She wanted a dress that matched, and so I was called to attempt to do it. This is the dress.

Cake in an hour

This cake was put together in a little over an hour (this included making the frosting from scratch). The flowers were made a while back (when I was preparing for the fair) so making a simple cake such as this didn't take me much time at all. This was for Kelly's boss' birthday.

I have done many cakes for many occasions in the last 4 years. I take pictures of all my cakes, but there are so many I've done, I've only included my most favorite ones that stick out in my mind below. Starting with my award winning cake pictures. The most recent winners were entries of my cake decorating into the LA County Fair. In total I entered 4 cakes...3 of them placed. After the award winning cakes, you'll find a multitude of cakes I've done for people. If you have an idea, I can usually come up with a great and unique design. This will now be the place I publish my cake photos. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoy making them.

This received 1st place at the 2008 LA County Fair.







The brown cake below was also entered into the LA County Fair 2008. It received 3rd place in a special reception cake contest. The cake with the flowers bursting out of the top received 2nd place in the "special occasions" category
