Buzz and Woody/ Princess Cake

My twins celebrated their 3rd birthday. As they get older, its more challenging to figure out how to give them both what they want in one single cake. My solution this year, was a layered cake. I can't say I'll do that again...but my kids adored it....and really, that's all that matters. I actually forgot to take a picture of the final, final cake with all the details...but this was detail enough.

Classic Pooh Baby Shower theme

Hallie loves classic pooh....so it was fitting that her shower cake was adorned with Pooh. This chocolate with fresh strawberry filling was a hit and tasted as good as it looked (so I'm told).

Little Chicks children's Birthday Party

Chickens were the theme for the twin birthday party. Since it was a BBQ, cupcakes were requested. These were so adorable and just perfect for the occasion. Mom loved them....and so did the birthday boys.

Twin girls 1st Birthday

I think this one is one of my favorites out of all the cakes I've done. This is for my girlfriend Kristin. Her twin girls are turning 1. The theme is ladybugs. Isn't it cute? I think so.

1st Birthday LadyBug Cake

I'm currently finishing up a ladybug cake for one of my girlfriends who has twin girls. The theme is lady bugs. I'm really excited to do this cake because I think its going to look so cute when its all put together. As of now, its just a bunch of parts. The finished product will be posted by Monday.

Cake in an hour

This cake was put together in a little over an hour (this included making the frosting from scratch). The flowers were made a while back (when I was preparing for the fair) so making a simple cake such as this didn't take me much time at all. This was for Kelly's boss' birthday.

1st Birthday

My girlfriend Danielle wanted to do a cake for her daughters first birthday. She wanted to do it, but needed some instruction. This was her birthday cake done in co-op with Danielle.

Horton Hears a Who birthday Theme (Children's)

My twins had their first birthday party and the theme was Horton Hears a Who. The Elephant (Horton) is made out of Fondant which hardens. The who's which are the white cartoons on the orange layer were hand drawn with black frosting. This cake fed 80 people.

Dallas Cowboys cake

This was a quick cake turnaround. About 4 days. I don't have a football pan and I didn't have time to order one, so I had to sculpt the football...which is incredibly difficult. Never the less, I think the color and the cake turned out pretty well.

First Birthday

One of the first stacked cakes I did was for a 1st birthday party. My technique and my skills in Fondant have definitely improved, but I still love the design of it.
